Information for Referees Working Games at Kentucky Indoor
Ø
Arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to your
game and let a member of staff know you are there. If you are running late call the facility to
let them know you are running late
Ø If
you need to change do it in the bathroom or cafe.
Ø Referee score sheets are at the concession area or with the
referee working games ahead of you.
Ø
Failure to fill out a score sheet will result
in loss of pay for the game or games the score sheet is not properly filled out
for.
Ø
Don’t just stand by the clock. Move around the field. Follow play!
Blow your whistle as loud as you can in youth games.
Ø
If there is a forfeit the referee will work
the game if the teams want to scrimmage.
Ø
Ejection/Injury
Reports. You can either fill out an online
report (The preferred method)
or a hard copy of an ejection report which is located in the café. Ejection/Injury reports must be filled out
the same day the incident occurs.

Ø After your games leave the score sheet for the next
referee or give it to the manager on duty if you are the last referee working
that day.
Ø
If you stay at the facility change out of
your referee gear. Don’t be in the
facility with your gear on unless you are refereeing.
Ø
Referees are paid every 2 weeks. Checks are mailed to refs. Pay Scale
Ø
If you have a sendoff the Manager on Duty
(MOD) will have the player leave the building if possible (may be riding with
someone and need to wait on his/her ride).
If the MOD does not notice that you have given a red card please inform
them so that the MOD can have the player/fan leave. After you finish your games you can fill out
the online report located at http://www.cksoa.org/refs/ejection_injury_report.htm
The report must be filled out the same day as the incident. Failure to fill out form will result in loss of
pay.
